The Marvel character of a Sorcerer Supreme called Doctor Strange was created by the artist Steve Ditko, who utilised surrealistic imagery and increasingly vivid psychedelic visuals, which helped make the master of the occult arts, Doctor Strange, a favourite character during the hippie era of the 1960’s.
But the Faustian character of Doctor Strange, is not alone, he is aided by an otherworldly girl from another dimension, called Clea, you could easily equate with a female version of Mephistopheles, who would be an ultra-terrestrial Succubus. No doubt Doctor Strange has a grimoire looking like a comic book, out of which he can conjure many another ultra-terrestrial Succubus, in order to access other dimensions via his lucid dreams.
